  • Living Jiu Jitsu has proved a warm, welcoming club with great people, great teaching and above all a spirit of sportsmanship. Visited Augsburg for a few days, and was welcomed by Dominic, Ben and the rest of the crew. A GREAT PLACE FOR JIU JITSU!!

  • The best Jiu Jitsu gym in the Augsburg region! 100% recommended, for adults and children who want to learn. The coach is very patient and caring and can provide instructions both in English and German. I only practiced BJJ for +7 months, but I've had the chance to try gyms in different countries, such as Canada and Brazil and I can say that the atmosphere that the coach Dominik built here is one of the best. There is a lot of space for beginners and the team is very respectful on the rolls, so you can find a matching partner if you are going 'hard' or just 'flowing'. Also plan to take my child in a few years as I see their classes and the discipline and respect are really good. Thank you for all, coach Dominik!

  • I was passing through Augsburg and one of my coaches in Nürnberg had recommended Living Jiu Jitsu. I wrote to ask about their drop in policy and got a quick response from Dominik to come in for their open mat. First off, the environment is very welcoming. Dominik greeted me straight away and everyone in the gym was friendly. The rolls were good and I got the feeing that everyone there is looking out for one another including me as a guest. I speak German, but all those I spoke with seem to have a great competence of English so communication was not an issue at all. The space is nice and open. They also have a section for weights and kettlebells. In addition to being a technically sound bunch I could see and feel that everyone on the mat was strong and in competition shape. The day I was there everyone was doing nogi and I got valuable feedback from every roll. The gym is clean and it just feels nice to be in there. In between rounds you have a great view of all the rolls going on and is simply a great place to be. I will definitely come back when I’m in Augsburg again. Thank you Dominik and all the folks who rolled with me!🙏🏼

  • Came here to train Brazilian Jiu-jitsu stayed for way more than that. I started training here since the first day I moved to Augsburg from Melbourne Australia. I have only good things to say about this place, Dominik is a superb coach with a solid teaching method and a genuine love for the art! (He can explain techniques in both German and English without any problems). As for the training atmosphere and the people attending can't ask for anything better, real bonds has been developed amongst people and all the newcomers are welcomed with open arms, we go compete and win medals while having fun as a tight team on a regular basis. Highly recommend everyone in town interested in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, MMA and self-defense to check this place out!
